The film Bhaagamathie revolves around Chanchala Reddy IAS (Anushka Shetty) who is imprisoned in a haunted bungalow for interrogation purpose by law enforcer’s.

It starts with interesting characterization of the main lead chanchala and the supporting cast. Once the story shifts to bungalow one will think they can predict the proceedings easily, to an extend you do. Later the story leads to adrenaline pumping baagamathie’s introduction.

After superb Introduction of Baagamathie’s Character we expect director to revel her flashback. It will be revealed in simple way that you won’t expect. Audience will be surprised with awesome twist.

With logics missing here and there, Chanchala’s motive will be revealed and the film ends with a small hit of a sequel.

Anushka Shetty as Chanchala was excellent she has a superb screen presence and her worthy acting is major plus point. Needless to say after watching the movie you can’t think any other actor. The casting of three malayali actors gives freshness to the film.

Director and storywriter Ashok did honest job. His screenplay was good in second half but could have done better job at the end. Other technical aspects were really good especially the artwork by Ravindra was so real. Camera work by Madhi was topnotch. Background score by Thaman S was intense. Great Production values were clearly visible on screen.


Worthy technical values and wonderful performance by Anushka makes Bhaagamathie a definite watch… go for it.

Movie:  Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo  (2020) Genre:  Drama /  Action Runtime:  2hr 45mins Writer and director: Trivikram Valmiki (Muralisharma) interchanges his son (Sushanth) with boss’s son (Allu Arjun) in hospital. After 25 years truth will be revealed to Allu Arjun and rest of the story is how he unconventionally settles down things in his authentic family. Allu Arjun totally lived into the Devraj character and he is exceptional in hero elevation scenes. His acting and dances are as usually admirable and his action sequences are worthy.
