Nawab (2018)

Image
Movie:  Nawab  (2018) Genre: Drama / Thriller Runtime: 2hr 23mins It is a saga of three brothers Varadan (Arvind Swami), Thyagu (Arun Vijay), Ethi (Silambarasan) sons of a Mafia don Bhupathi (Prakash Raj). A conflict erupts between them to gain fathers throne.  The casting of the movie was perfect. All the characters realistic and their acting was first-class. Female actors have limited role. Rasool Ibrahim’s (Vijay Sethupathi) role as a suspended police inspector was entertaining. Maniratnam’s story telling was spotless, though the characterization of the cast was faintly different.  Slight unevenness in the screenplay at the beginning of second half will disturbs the flow of the movie. But the master film maker comes back in last 30 minutes. The movie gets elevated by AR Rahamn’s background score and Picture perfect cinematography by Santosh shivan. The way director utilized the Rahman songs and their placements in the movie was new, may not...

His is so pure that even after knowing that she is a prostitute, he still continues to love her. His character is filled with innocence. Special mention should be done to the woman who played the Muslim, she (Praveena Paruchuri) is the producer of this movie, believe me its is tough role to play. ·         Joesph (Karthik Ratnam) who is a street rowdy works for a gym owner and does small settlements. Sanju (2018)

My View  Movie: Sanju (2018) Genre: Biopic / Action Runtime: 160 minutes Sanju is a Biographical film on actor Sanjay Dutt's life. The film was largely based on two tracks, one is the drugs episode (Pre-interval) and the other is the gun episode (Post-interval) and how he fought these two battles.  The main lead Ranbir Kapoor has put huge effort to play the role of Sanjay dutt and it was a perfect choice, he lived into the character. Sometimes you truly feel that Sanjay dutt is doing his own biopic. His emotional scenes with Paresh Rawal and Vickey Kaushal were touching. Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt and Manisha Korirala as Nargis Dutt have done true justice to their characters. Vickey kaushal as Kamalesh has do a tremendous job. His comic timing, emotions and drama with Ranbir were top class. This role gives him lot of opportunities in near future. The negative role Zubin played by Jim sarbh lived up to expectations. Main lead was well supported by Boman Iran...

BHARAT ANE NENU (2018)

Image
My View  Movie: BHARAT ANE NENU (2018) Genre: Political Drama  Runtime: 2 hr 53 minutes Bharat ram (Mahesh Babu) steps into shoes of Chief minister after the death of his father. Later he tries to correct the system by his own terms and faces problems from his own party. How he overcomes the barriers and gains people support is rest of the story. Mahesh babu did a decent job in the role of Bharat. His dialogue delivery suited the character very well. His act in the press conference scene was outstanding, but his character gets week in the emotional scenes. Kiara Advani as Vasumathi was ok. Prakash raj as  Varadarajulu was apt. But most of the casting in the movie was misfit. The movie plot was more or less resembles Shekar kamula’s Leader. Even though story was predictable, director Koratala Siva’s screenplay was good. He took utmost care in few areas. On the other hand, one will feel repetitiveness of few scenes from past movies like Oka okkadu and...

Movie: Bhaagamathie (2018) Genre: Suspense / Thriller Runtime: 2h 25m The film Bhaagamathie revolves around Chanchala Reddy IAS (Anushka Shetty) who is imprisoned in a haunted bungalow for interrogation purpose by law enforcer’s. It starts with interesting characterization of the main lead chanchala and the supporting cast. Once the story shifts to bungalow one will think they can predict the proceedings easily, to an extend you do. Later the story leads to adrenaline pumping baagamathie’s introduction. After superb Introduction of Baagamathie’s Character we expect director to revel her flashback. It will be revealed in simple way that you won’t expect. Audience will be surprised with awesome twist. With logics missing here and there, Chanchala’s motive will be revealed and the film ends with a small hit of a sequel. Anushka Shetty as Chanchala was excellent she has a superb screen presence and her worthy acting is major plus point. Needless to say after ...
